7/25 - 7/31

It was the best of weeks, it was the worst of weeks (see what I did there?). My running fell off the map, but I busted out a big one in the water. It went like this:

Monday I swam 4,500 meters as

John was there and so was my older sister, Helen, who has been up from Florida for several weeks taking care of Mom. Thanks, Sis. In the afternoon, I lifted weights and ran 5.11 miles.

Tuesday it was back to the pool with John for

5,000 countdown (focusing mostly on 100s)
10 X 50 medium paddles @ 1:15
200 small paddles
total: 5,700.

Then I took the dogs to the recycle/river trail and we walked .71. Later in the day, I lifted weights, ran 1.02 miles, and worked in the yard.

Wednesday, John and I hit Twin Rivers for

Thursday was John's and my epic rain-swim. I already blogged about our six and a half hours in the pool when I totaled 13,600 meters.

Friday, John didn't get out of bed until 3:00 p.m. That didn't surprise me. I went to the pool alone and swam

Then I lifted weights and took a nap.

That was it for the week. In case you are wondering what happened to running, my left knee has been a little gimpy. Please pray because I have already started gaining weight and getting grouchy. I need to run.
