After work, I shuffled a slow 4.05 miles. Remember, I am cutting back some this week on the run mileage. I want to be relatively fresh for my week off. I hope to bust out a big one and break 2022's one-week mileage record that I just set last week. To do that, I need three strong runs, coupled with a few weak ones, beginning on Monday. So this week, I will cut the mileage to go into next week fresh enough to get it done. (Notice what I didn't say there. I did not say, "Going forward." It's odd that so many people have not realized that the future tense still works). That's the plan anyway.
I did go to the City and do my pull workout. That session included the chest-supported row, lat pull downs, dumbbell curls, speed bag work, and 3:10 on the Skierg as a finisher. Yeah, that was pretty good training right there, I don't care who you are. I might not be blowing it up, but at least I have been consistent this week. I have been to the pool everyday, all two of them, run every day, all two of them, and lifted every day, all two of them. Now my goal is to make it all three of them. Praise God.
