Saturday started with a sleep in and then a trip to the pool. I had already met my quota for the week, so I took it mostly easy and swam
2,150 42:41
200 tt 2:57
250 medium paddles 4:36
50 back :58
100 large paddles
total: 2,750 yards = 2,513 meters
I went home, ate some leftover catfish, and took a nap with River. Then I took a short shuffle. Actually, it was my longest of the week. I went out Wade Road and back for 5.71 miles.
I took more nutrition and hit Plate City for some different stuff. I did lots of rotator work, of course, and did heavy rack pulls at
5 X 135
6 X 185
3 X 205
1 X 215
1 X 220
1 X 225
1 X 230
1 X 235 (new Association of Sports Strongmen world record)
I did a set of squats and then moved to the yoke squat for
5 X 180
3 X 220
3 X 273
1 X 278 (new Association of Sports Strongmen world record)
That was a pretty good day. I wanted to do some farmer's carries but I was done after that. Another three-workout day and two world records to further humiliate Randy Beets. Take that, Big Guy.
Thank you, Jesus, and happy and holy Easter to all.
