5/20 - 5/26

The penultimate week before the 2019 Chicot Challenge was a pretty decent one. Monday I swam 3,300 meters. Tuesday I swam 1,736 meters, lifted weights, and ran 5.62 miles.

Wednesday I did my last long swim. I went to the pond and swam 6.35 miles in 3:44:33. Thursday I did a run of 6.51 miles and a swim of 1,828 meters. Friday I only swam 2,010 meters.

Saturday was a four-workout day, but the sessions were all small. I swam 1,000 meters in the big pool, ran 2.05 miles for workout number two, and did a squat session for number three. Later in the day I hit the whole upper body for number four, the stuff fitness is made of. For the week, I

swam - 20,091 meters
rowed - 3:30
lifted weights three times, and
ran 14.18 miles.

I have now swum 402,597 meters since the first of the year. That's 250 miles. I ought to be able to swim Chicot. Time will tell.
