John still won't get in the big pool. I bet the water is boiling by now.
So we were to meet at 7:30. John was twenty-two minutes late. Right on time for him.

I mowed the lawn and once more managed not to get red bugs. Thank you, Jesus.
Then I went for a shuffle. I did 6.51 miles at a miserable 14:12 pace. Will my speed ever come back? I know, I know. I am thankful to be able to shuffle at any speed, but 14:00 per mile is pathetic.
Thank you, Jesus, for 14:00 per mile. Not long ago I thought that was gone for good.
