Day Two

Day two of the new year was a lot like the days preceding it: naps and exercise. At the pool, I swam

3,300 1:06:27 (2:00)
200 3:08 (1:38)
300 medium paddle 5:38
50 42
50 41
50 43
50 41
1,000 small paddles 19:40
25
5,025 yards = 4,592 meters

This swim put me over 20,000 meters for the week. That is the lower end of Chicot level volume.

I ran some errands and while I was out, I went by Russell's Antiques to see if they were open. I bought Penny's Christmas present there and there were some ear rings that caught my eye. In fact, I have not been able to get them out of my mind, so I found them open and purchased the ear rings. She has a birthday this month. I think she liked them more than what I gave her for Christmas.

I took some naps. It was rainy. I decided I could not run or lift at Plate City so I did what I do four or five time a year. I went to Twin Rivers. On the dreadmill, I did 2.11 before I could not take it anymore. Then I did bench presses, lateral raises, and triceps push downs. I got a decent workout on a day when the weather would have allowed none. Thank you, Jesus.
