Back to Colder Water

I ran first, late morning and in shorts. It was just warm enough, 68, for me to lose the tights. Wait a minute, you say. I can go shorts a lot colder than that. Yes, but don't. Don't run in shorts if the outdoor temp is 65 or colder. Don't. You have been warned.

I went zigged around town, shuffled out Wade Road, went down that gravel one, and sauntered back towards home on Money Road. I did 6.75 miles and felt OK doing it. The knee didn't even whimper. So I am now back to some real running, slowly rebuilding for the Viking Half Marathon which has been rescheduled for August 22.

I had some errands to run so I was late getting to the pool. There were kids in there. Kids are not supposed to be in the little pool. I left and came back later. I swam

1275
550
25
250 tt 2:59
450 medium paddles 4:47
200 backstroke
total: 2,700 yards = 2,467 meters

It was bench day at Plate City. I pressed

17 X 95
13 X 100
13 X 100 plus one chain
10 X 100 plus two chains
7 X 100 plus two chains and a five hung on each side with bands

Facepulls

10 X 22
10 X 32
10 X 34.5
10 X 35.5

Another strong day while Randy Beets sits away in his horse trough. Thank you, Jesus.
