Less Is More

I'm learning that sometimes less is more. Friday I did more or less. See what I did there? I did less Friday, less in the pool, less on the road, but maybe not less in the gym.

At the pool, I swam

2,100 43:14
9 X 50 @ 1:16
650 medium paddles 12:23
25
brick kick
400 small paddles 8:02
total: 3,625 yards = 3,313 meters

That was quite a cutback but I needed it. While I was still in the pool, I decided not to run, just get a little more rest. It was a good decision. Then at Plate City I worked pretty hard. On the bench, I busted it hard for

  10 X 95
10 X 100
10 X 105
10 X 110
10 X 115
10 X 120
  8 X 125

I also did five sets of lat pull downs, two sets of the Swim Pull, a bunch of rotator work, and four sets of the face pull. That was a pretty solid session to round out a day of rest. Also, that covered push and pull leaving me with legs alone for Saturday. I am thinking strongman stuff. It has been a while since I did farmer's carries and yoke squats. An alley workout would do a body good.

Another day of social distancing equals another day of physical fitness. Thank you, Jesus.
