Friday I laid an egg. I worked all day, which made things difficult. John and I were planning on swimming at lunch. The film crew was there so we could not swim. John pitched a fit. I surprised myself at how I took it in stride. I guess John threw the fit for me so I felt no need.
After work, I was so tired, I went to bed. Therefore, I did not swim, I did not run, I did not lift. Live happens.
Saturday, however, was a different story. John and I met at the pool in the morning. Yes, he was late. I swam
2,000 37:28
150 back 3:34
150 small paddles 2:43
150 medium paddles 2:41
150 large paddles 2:36
brick kick
200 small paddles 3:41
total: 2,800 yards = 2,559 meters.
A little after noon, I went out for a shuffle and kept going for 9.33 miles. Then I went to Plate City. Instead of doubling up, I had to triple. I needed to do push, pull, and legs. So I did. On the deadlift, I pulled
9 X 135
5 X 150
3 X 160
2 X 170
2 X 170
It was a long day, and I slept well. Thank you, Jesus.
