8/3 - 8/9

By the grace of God, I had a solid cycle of training, hitting another 20/20 week. Monday I swam 4,100 meters, ran 3.59 miles, and lifted weights. Tuesday, I swam 2,300, shuffled 8.2, and lifted more weights.

Wednesday, I hit a hard 5,300 in the pool. In addition to that, I did 2.22 miles or road work, and did more lifting. Thursday I was stroking at Twin Rivers for 3,500, roadworking for 4.06, and enjoying Plate City for another lifting session.

Friday I only swam 3,100. But then I drove to Hill View Baptist Church and ran the big hill. Nice training. Yes, I lifted. And Saturday, I swam, only 2,200, but I was in the water finishing my 20,000 meters. Then I lifted, but I did not run, having already finished my 20 miles on the road.

So it was a good week. I

swam 20,500 meters,
ran 24.16 miles, and
lifted six times.

That is good training, the kind it takes to beat Randy Beets and finish the Chicot Challenge. Thank you, Jesus.
