Thursday

Lately I've been backing off some on Thursday. There are two reasons for this. One, I am tired from getting up early Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Two, I want to be a little fresh for the virtual swim meets Randy Beets and I have been having. Not this time, however. At the pool, I swam

total: 3,000 yards = 2,833 meters

Notice I repeated the set of 200s. I like those because they hurt in a delectable way. Consequently, I think they are a good training stimulus. Tuesday I did 4 X 500 @ 3:55. I added one rep today and reduced the rest interval by one second. What do you think I'll do next week? the next time I do 200s?

I shuffled 3.12 miles bringing my weekly total to 23.45 miles. If I can knock off that ten-miler Friday, I will have a banner week. But it is supposed to rain all day. What to do? It's not a big deal if I can't get the long run in. I'll do what I can do.
