Lazy Monday

I woke up but did not get up. At least I did not get up early. I didn't sleep well Sunday night so I thought I needed the rest more than an early-morning swim. At least that is my story and I am sticking to it. Besides, John was out. Since Monday is my long day in Greenville, I did not have a lot of time when I got home. Right now, the pool has priority. So I swam

brick kick
2,650 51:48
850 tt 13:50
600 medium paddles 10:51
800 back 17:31
25
brick kick
700 small paddles 14:00
700 25/25 free/back
total: 6,325 yards = 5,781 meters

The 800 back is the longest backstroke set I have ever done in my whole life. My backstroke is at an all-time high. That is not saying a lot since I never worked it before. But I have been working it the last few weeks. I am signed up for the Senior Olympics: 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, and 100 back. That is what's making me work the back.

If I were a real hard butt, I would have gone out for a run when I got home from the pool and then hit the gym. But I am not so I hung out with CC who has been needy lately. That is OK with me. I like love needy cats.

Thank you, Jesus.
